This large barn was built sometime around the 1860s, and was located directly behind Joshua Harry Timpson and Mariah Ann Lord's house up on the hill. The barn is now demolished, but the flat grade where it once stood still remains.

In the accompanying photo, you can see the Timpson Barn in the upper right. Directly below the barn are the Samuel McKinney, Joyce, and Devery cottages. To the left are the Timpson/Lord House, along with the Lordville Presbyterian Church behind it.
